    Interested in Sigma Alpha??

     

    Sigma Alpha is the only professional and social sorority at Fresno State.  If you are looking to become part of the ag industry after school, Sigma Alpha is a great way to meet many connections within the industry.  If you are interested in becoming a sister of the Sigma Alpha Alpha Phi Sorority please contact our rush chair Kristine Nunes at 209.658.9044 or knunes@mail.fresnostate.edu.  Also if you feel that Sigma Alpha is the sorority for you there is no need to pay for sorority recruitment, our rush week is free!  Just look for us at Dog Days or when school starts back up look for our posters around the ag buildinging and around campus.  We hope to see you in the fall!

     

    Sigma Alpha's to Participate in 100th Commencement Ceremony

    This year we had three sisters graduating in our 100th Commencement Ceremony at Fresno State University. The three sisters are Taylor Palomino, Nicole Nance and Brittany Rivas. Each of these sisters has contributed a lot to this sorority and will truly be missed. Taylor is receiving a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business and Nicole and Brittany will both be receiving a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education. Both Taylor and Nicole served on our executive team for five semesters and have great knowledge about our sorority. Taylor has held the position of Rush Chair and 2nd Vice President. Nicole has been our sorority’s treasurer and also served as our President last year.  Brittany has been head of our Sisterhood committee in previous years and has been there to give great advice to her fellow sisters. All three seniors are older members of this sorority and are looked up to by younger members. These are sisters that other members can go to about advice, knowledge and leadership. We wish our seniors good luck with all their future endeavors! Congratulations Class of 2011!
